DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) is part of the Terms & Conditions between Proffers Communications (“Processor”) and our clients (“Controller”) who use our services.
1. Purpose
The Processor will process personal data on behalf of the Controller solely to provide customer support services.
2. Roles & Responsibilities

Controller: Owns the data and decides how it is used.

Processor (Proffers): Processes data only under the Controller’s instructions.

3. Data Processing Details

Types of Data: Customer names, emails, order details, support queries.

Data Subjects: End customers of the Controller’s business.

Duration: As long as the Controller uses our services.
4. Security Measures
We apply industry-standard security, including:

Encryption of data in transit and at rest.

Restricted access to authorized staff only.

Regular system monitoring.
5. Sub-Processors
We may use third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, payment, CRM tools). A current list of sub-processors is available upon request.
6. International Transfers
Where data is transferred outside the Controller’s jurisdiction, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR).
7. Data Subject Rights
We assist the Controller in responding to data subject requests (access, correction, deletion, etc.) in compliance with GDPR/CCPA.
8. Termination
Upon termination of services, we will delete or return all personal data to the Controller, unless retention is required by law.
